What is Chaga?
 
Found in cold, forest locations growing in conks on the bark of Birch trees, the great adaptogen, Chaga Mushroom, aka Inonotus obliquus, has been used for centuries as the best immune system-boosting mushroom on Earth.

Why do we sell dual-extracted Chaga only, and not raw Chaga Mushroom powder?
 
There is a huge difference between cheaper, raw Chaga Mushroom powder/chunks and dual-extracted Chaga. 
 
Raw Chaga Mushroom powder and raw chunks contain chitin. This is a very hard substance found within the cell walls of the mushroom conk, which your body will struggle to break down and digest. Its colour is a lighter orange/brown, so quite easy to spot. It may be cheaper to buy online, but as we found out ourselves years ago, what is the point of consuming it?
 
Our supreme, dark black, dual-extracted Chaga has been crafted to allow your stomach to absorb all the beneficial components found within the mushroom so that it can perform for you at the highest level. 
 
Our dual-extracted Chaga is wild-harvested by trusted horticulturists in the Altai Mountain range in southern Siberia. The conks have to go through years of -40'C weather conditions to create high melanin rates. 
 
When the conks are ready to forage, the beautifully rich orange and black chunks are then pushed through a dual-extraction process under laboratory conditions in Moscow, Russia.
 
Our super-fine powder is then freeze-dried and presented in tiny particle size, allowing a larger volume when hot water is added to make tea. This creates better absorption, improving bioavailability and therapeutic effect, and also means you receive premium value from your purchase.
